Other Healing Modalities Employed…

According to traditional Chinese medicine, the body’s energy, or “qi”, flows through a network of channels called “meridians” that extend throughout the body. These meridians can become blocked, which inhibits the flow of qi, causing pain or illness.

*Accupressure points for toothache

  • SI18: Quanliao, Small Intestines Meridian. This acupoint saved my life because it provided me soooo much relief, instantly. When the pain returned, I’d simply apply the pressure point again, yielding the same results.

    Quanliao translates as cheekbone crevice. This acupoint sits under the cheekbone. Applying pressure here may help alleviate toothache, as well as sinus congestion and pain.

  • ST6: Jiache, Stomach Meridian

    Jiache translates as jawbone. Applying pressure here may relieve toothache and swelling and decrease pain or spasms in the jaw.

*The Young ONE in my care wants to go outside every single day, so it didn’t matter that I wasn’t feeling well. After she ate breakfast and played in the jouse for a little while, she began loudly shouting “SIDE, SIDE, SIDE!!!” We went outside and the Sun’s rays and fresh air were so refreshing and right on time. I took my tenet down in the field (I am a Camper), and the movement gave me temporary relief from the throbbing pain.

*I took a hot bath with Coconut Oil, while listening to Jhene Aiko’s “Calm Down” ASMR Trigger Protection Mantra on YouTube. I appreciate this mantra immensely! Playing this track on an hour loop has helped me to release feelings of anxiety, tension, sadness and depression. I give thanks for that sister and her contribution to my mental health. It was in the tub that the pounding and throbbing in my head intensified, causing me to unconsciously begin to pulsate my body, pushing my feet into one end of the tub and back up through my butt against the other end. This motion brought me to my next action.

Major Revelation…

Why is it that when people are sick, not feeling well, or under the weather, their natural inclination is to lay around miserable? When, in fact, it is the opposite that will give you relief. After my pulsating in the tub, I remembered how I felt when I took the tent down earlier…RELIEF! No throbbing, radiating pain, just relief, and it made me say “I gotta move more”. At 23:00 at night, I rolled out my yoga mat and did Creative Vinyasa Flow for Feeling Unstuck by this beautiful sister, Yoga by Biola, on YouTube. This was exactly what I needed to get my qi flowing again, after moping around for most of the day. The yoga poses were similar to what my brother, Curtis Heru, just introduced me to a week prior with Raja Yoga. According to www.yogaindailylife.org, “Raja means King. A king acts with independence, self-confidence and assurance. Raja Yoga is the path of self-discipline and practice.”

After finishing yoga and feeling less stuck, I still felt like I needed to get my heart pumping more to increase circulation (OXYGEN Exchange) to the infection site, and to break up the inflammation causing any swelling or pain, so…

*I pulled out my weighted jump rope and jumped to my favorite Soca song of all times, Machel Montano “Higher than High”. This song cannot come on without me jumping all around the place. My heart was racing, raising my body temperature so much that I broke out into a sweat. Even better than all of that—my desired outcome—I did not feel ANY Pain whatsoever. In the words of Bob Marley “Give thanks and praises to the Most High”.

I shall continue this regimen for the next y days, approaching it as one would take a round of doctor-prescribed antibiotics. After that period has passed, I shall continue to eat a gut-healing life including the following as staples***:

  • Probiotics and Eat Fermented Foods (yogurt, sauerkraut, kimchi, kombucha, etc.)

  • Prebiotic Fiber (garlic, onions, bananas, asparagus, whole grains, Jerusalem artichokes)

  • Less Sugar and Sweeteners

  • Reduce Stress

  • Avoid Taking Antibiotics Unnecessarily (Antibiotic means AGAINST LIFE, it destroys LIFE)

  • Exercise Regularly (to perspiration)

  • Get Enough Sleep

Aunt Susan is an INSPIRATION to ME. She released her physical form to return to the realm of the SPIRIT in 2017. After years of chemotherapy to “treat” her diagnosis of Ovarian cancer, she had enough of their treatments/experiments. I recall talking to Aunt Rose (her older sister, my auntie, and an RN) about Aunt Susan’s treatment. Rose Marie said, “Susan don’t need to be laying around in that bed, with the curtain close (GULLAH Geechee On the RISE). She need to be up moving around. She need to go outside and get some fresh air; go for a walk or something. I done seen that with too many of my patients. That’s how many of them leave here.”

Evidence of Chronic Inflammation…

  • Chronic lingering pain or swelling, arthralgia, myalgia.

  • Chronic fatigue and insomnia.

  • Depression, anxiety and mood disorders.

  • Gastrointestinal complications like constipation, diarrhea, and acid reflux.

  • Weight gain or weight loss.

  • Frequent infections.

  • Blurred Vision

Chronic Inflammation in the BODY is exactly why Dr. Sebi said “Mucus is THE CAUSE of EVERY Disease. Eliminate the Mucus, Eliminate the Disease.”
